Client Service Input Committees Introduction


In May 2008, OLS-North announced a new approach for receiving client service input from its clients.  By using a two prong approach the organization separated the approach to receiving client input from the approach needed to ensure that clients had time for networking and training. Ongoing committees have been developed to provide advice to staff in the service areas of: Capacity Building, Skills Development, Conference and Planning, Pools and JASI/Technology. Face to Face networking opportunities are provided to clients twice a year; at the annual conferences in the spring and through meetings throughout Northern Ontario in the fall. These Networking meetings are coupled with a training workshop.
