Well, after an extensive delay, Lorraine Leblanc has finally succeeded in beginning her retirement. I know that you all join me in wishing her well. Lorraine will always remain a friend to this organization and will be watching carefully as we chart our course into the future together. We are still sorting out her many tasks amongst us but for now queries regarding JASI and VOCAL (our Virtual Library Service pilot project) should go to Irma. Queries regarding First Nation Services, library credits under the $15million dollar investment, or digitization projects should go to Leanne. If you are unclear of who to contact, just cal the office and someone will direct you appropriately. Best of Luck, Lorraine
In addition the talents of Kim Brady have been seconded into a local union position. Kim will be on leave working with CUPE until the end of November. We are working to fill this temporary vacancy, meanwhile please fill free to contact Gwen Boyd, Anne Langevin or Leanne Clendening about any finance matter or talk to Karen Thistle or Dana Potter about pool questions.
