Photocopies / Fax

Photocopy machines are available at each branch.

Faxes may be sent or received at $1.00 per page, plus long distance charges.

Internet Access

Internet access is available in all branches. It is advisable to call ahead, since certain times of the day are very busy. Wireless service is also available during open hours. Please have a charged battery for wireless access since plugs are usually not available.

Interlibrary Loan

Items not available in our collections are usually available through the Southern Ontario Library interlibrary loan system. Please inquire at your local branch.

Meeting Room Rental

The Elmvale and Midhurst Branches both have a small meeting room available for rent. Please contact Elmvale (322-1482) or Midhurst (737-5650) for availability and price.

Early Literacy Computers

Elmvale and Midhurst Branches each have two early literacy computers available with many games and activities geared for the young children.

Gallery Display

The Midhurst Branch has a small room to display local works of art and a display case to exhibit special collections. Please call 737-5650 for availability.

Dog Tags (for Springwater)

Dog tags are available for purchase at the Elmvale and Midhurst Branches. Please call for pricing details. (Elmvale – 322-1482; Midhurst – 737-5650) Proof of current rabies vaccination required. Cash or cheque only.

Wii

A Wii gaming unit is available for use in the library at the Elmvale and Midhurst Branches. Please speak with staff if you are interested.

North Simcoe Good Food Box

The North Simcoe Good Food Box is a community initiative of nonprofit agencies desiring to promote good nutrition. Good Food Boxes include an assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables in two sizes. Orders need to be placed by the 7th and picked up on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Elmvale Branch.  Cash only.
