Loan Periods

Regular print material, music CDs, books on cassette and CD, and some non-fiction videos may be borrowed for 3 weeks. These items may be renewed for an additional 3 weeks, provided no one has reserved them.

Videos, DVDs and games may be borrowed for 1 week, and may also be renewed if there are no reserves. There is a limit of 5 videos / DVDs per family. Videos and DVDs may only be borrowed on an adult card. Videos and DVDs must be returned before closing on due date.

Fines

Overdue fines are as follows:

Regular print material - .25 cents per open day
Videos / games - $2.00 per open day
DVDs - $4.00 per open day
High demand material (yellow band) - $1.00 per open day
Interlibrary Loans - $2.00 per open day

Current maximum overdue fine is $10.00 per item.

All outstanding fines must be paid promptly. If materials are not returned within 3 months, privileges will be suspended and a re-instatement fee of $20.00 will be charged. All overdue materials must also be returned or paid for before privileges are re-instated.
