Story Hours

Join us for weekly story-time and crafts! The hour begins with story time followed by an arts and crafts activity period. Enjoyable for all kids!

Class Visits

Are you looking for a free, curriculum-related field trip?  Why not consider visiting the John Dixon Public Library?  From picture books to the Internet, from encyclopedias to on-line databases, a visit to the library provides students with an excellent introduction to the tremendous range of resources and services that we have to offer. Also a Dewey Decimal scavenger hunt! Please call to arrange your visit.

Cyber Camp

For kids of all ages. Kids learn how to use computers and have fun going to age appropriate sites and learning about the internet.

Or perhaps you want to draw attention to a new community program or service. Here's one way you can do it.

PEP Talk

PEP - Public Education Program

The Friends of the Library host a monthly PEP Talk at the library, every third Wednesday of the month. Admission is free; refreshments will be served; door prize.
