  • It is the responsibility of the library borrower to keep track of when material is due. All material borrowed has a due-date stamped on the item.
  • Staff will endeavor to notify borrowers of overdue material where possible. This will either occur once verbally by telephone or by mail.
  • Items not returned within 30 days of the due date will be deemed lost and the library borrower will be billed the replacement cost of the item as well as overdue charges.

Lost/Damaged Materials

For lost materials, a replacement cost and a non-refundable processing fee will be charged. Refunds will only be given upon presentation of the item and the receipt and if the receipt is dated within the previous six (6) months.

Damaged items result in levy of appropriate fee.

Library Card

Upon presentation of valid name identification with your current address, a permanent membership will be issued.

Lost or stolen cards must be reported to us immediately. A replacement will be issued at the cost of $2.00. Damaged or worn-out cards will be replaced free of charge. If you move, please notify us so that we can update our records.

Borrowers are responsible for all items borrowed on their cards.

Children under the age of thirteen (13) must have their cards signed by a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian is responsible for all items on child’s card and the fines/fees incurred on card.
