Reference Services:

Available to the public, helping people to locate the information they need.

Lending Services:

Books, talking books (books on cassette tape) and magazines are available to the public to borrow for a period of two weeks; videos are available to borrow for a period of two days.

Interlibrary Loan:

The public can borrow books from any public library in Ontario.

Clerical Services:

Faxing, laminating and photocopying; some libraries can produce colour copies.

Programming:

All libraries offer pre-school children's story hours - contact your local branch for information, other programs are offered from time to time - contact your local branch for information.

Memberships:

Memberships are free to residents of Greenstone, membership fees apply to non-residents.

Computers:

Each branch holds a CAP (Community Access Program) centre where several computers are available for the use of the public free of charge. Computer services offered are: email, internet searching, word processors, recreational and educational CD-ROMS, printing and scanning of photos and documents. Staff are available on a limited basis to help out with problems.
