Services en français

La Bibliothèque publique d’East Ferris compte plus de 6 000 livres en français dans sa collection pour les adultes et les enfants.  De plus, la bibliothèque est abonnée à trois revues de langue française.  Une partie de son budget annuel est réservée à l’achat de livres, de vidéocassettes, de livres sur bande magnétique et de logiciels de langue française.  Le service de prêts entre bibliothèques donne également accès au matériel qui se trouve dans d’autres bibliothèques à travers le Canada.  Quatre ordinateurs donnent accès à Internet et deux d’entre eux sont munis d’un clavier qui permet de faire du traitement de texte en français.  Passez nous voir en juin pour obtenir plus de renseignements sur le club annuel de lecture offert en français et en anglais.

The East Ferris Public Library offers the following services:

Membership:  Membership is free to all residents of East Ferris and $20.00/year for non-residents.  Patrons will be charged full replacement cost plus a processing fee of $2.00 for lost or damaged items.  These charges vary with the item and overdue charges still apply. 

Photocopy and Printouts:
Black & White: .10¢/page
Color: $1.00/page
The Library Board absolves itself of all legal responsibility of all materials photocopied.

FAX:
Local:  .50¢/page
Long Distance:  $1.00/page
Incoming:  $1.00/page

If you can't find the book you're looking for, we can request it from another library and have it in for you within days or weeks. Come to the library for more information.  Check out the province wide Interlibrary loan system @ http://info.hostedbyfdi.net:8080/

Scanning:
$5.00 if you need assistance from staff.

Laminating:
8.5 x 11  $2.00/page
Business card  $1.00/each

Internet Access:
Internet access is available free in the library to both residents and non-residents of East Ferris.  There are currently 7 computers online, reservations:  752-2042
