The Local History Collection houses material of historical, cultural and political interest to the North Channel area with emphasis on Blind River and the North Shore. Donations of documents, genealogy, obituaries, books, high school year books, magazines, etc. relating to this collection are welcomed. Ask staff for full details.

The Great Lakes Historical Collection is a new collection emphasizing materials about our Great Lakes heritage. A bequest from the estate of Dougal McQuarrie from the Township of the North Shore has given the Library back issues of Inland Seas and a Life Time Membership in the Great Lakes Historical Society.
