Once again the Cochrane Public Library Board is pleased to provide The Forest of Reading® program initiative, sponsored by the Ontario Library Association. The Forest of Reading® is comprised of a series of programs each named after a tree, with each tree intended for readers of different age groups. The program has been created by over one hundred provincial library and education professionals and each year more than 220,000 readers participate.

Visit the library, register and read from the nominated book lists, all of which are available at the Library, then vote for your favourite Canadian book upon completion of the programme.

For the coming year, the Cochrane Public Library Board is able to offer you the following categories:

Forest of Reading 2012 Blue Spruce (English) Ages 4-7 (K-Gr2) and Silver Birch Express Ages 7-11 (Gr. 3-6) (This program has now ended for 2012)
